Indoor Park has grown!

Indoor Park has grown! We’ve added an extra day each week and we have new hours.

Please join us for play time and parent talk during this fun playgroup for children ages 0-6 and caregivers. We all bring a healthy snack to share during our snack time. Monday 10:30-noon and Thursdays 2:30-4 pm, in Room 4 of the Yachats Commons. Cost is $1 per child

Coming up December 9th, Nutrition Educator Jan Ostby will be with us to talk about whole grains. She always makes it fun for the kids and we all get to learn something while nibbling on wholesome food. We hope you can join us!

Reduce Crime and Save Money

Join the Children’s Trust of Lincoln County on Thursday, October 28th at 6:30-7:45 PM at the Yachats Commons. Share your opinions and ideas on how we can support our local kids. After all, “communities that invest in their children gain healthy, productive kids, reduce crime and save money,” – Rob Bovett, Lincoln County District Attorney.

Indoor Play Group for the Wee Ones!

Indoor Park is expanding its hours! Beginning the week of September 20th, Indoor Park will be held 2 days per week instead of just one. Join us Mondays from 10:30 am to noon and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3pm. Here are a few upcoming special Indoor Park activities:

Wednesday, August 25th from 1-3 PM: Nature Walk

Wednesday, September 8th from 1-3:00 PM: Special visit from Jan Ostby, Nutrition Education Instructor from Lincoln County OSU Extension office. She will be sharing important information on child nutrition and also be available to answer any questions

Wednesday, September 29th from 1:30-3:00 PM: Last Nature walk for the season

Indoor Park is held in Room #4 of the Yachats Commons, 441 N, Hwy 101, Yachats, OR. If we aren’t in the room when you get there, check the playground behind the Commons! Cost: Only $1 per visit. For more information, please call (541) 547-4599.
