Youth Musicians Raise over $1000 for YYFAP

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Five of our local youth volunteered their time and talents at the Yachats Commons on Saturday night to present an evening of piano and violin music.  The young musicians (Milo Graamans, Asher Doyle, Gordon Schlosser, Reina Morgan, and Tommy Jackson) presented a program of classical works and original compositions.  The evening was enjoyed by a diverse crowd of over 100 people, all of whom marveled at the talents of our kids here on the Oregon Coast.  All the proceeds from the evening (over $1000!!) will be used for YYFAP’s programming for children, youth, and families.20090905_2033_mus_04. showcase If you missed it, go to YYFAP’s YouTube channel to view some of the pieces.  Many many thanks to Milo, Asher, Gordon, Reina, and Tommy.  And BRAVO!!
