Dust off your go-go boots, fluff out your Afro, and find your tie dye shirt because it is going to be a 60′s themed potluck birthday party for Lauralee! Friday, November 20th from 6 – 9 PM at the Yachats Commons. Please no gifts but donations to the YYFAP Tree House and Food share will be gratefully received.

Join us for an evening full of good food, wonderful company and crafts for everyone! The Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program, in partnership with the Yachats Community Presbyterian Church, invites people of all ages to join together on Friday, December 4th at 6:00 PM at the Yachats Community Presbyterian Church. There will be a delicious spaghetti dinner followed by holiday-themed craft tables. Projects will include gift making, candy cane reindeers, window stars and decorating ornaments. This event is free. YYFAP welcomes our two new volunteers Gretchen Armstrong and Jessica Dotson who will be helping out at Recreation PLUS. Do you love to watch movies? Do you have an inquiring mind and lots of opinions? The Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program will host a movie viewing followed by lively discussion twice a month in the basement of the Yachats Commons.

Our first meeting will be on Friday, November 13th at 6:00. We will be choosing our movie list so bring names of classic (or should-be classic) movies you think will make for interesting discussion – think cutting edge, thought provoking, technical breakthrough, oldies, stereo-type-busting – movies from all genres that can be watched over and over. Cost is $10.
