The Yachats Commons Playground was selected as a finalist for a $10,000 play space improvement grant from the national non-profit KaBOOM!
The Yachats Commons Playground was chosen from over 1,600 Play Days all over the nation that took place this past September because of our unique and special play day.
Now we need your help! To receive the grant we need you to vote for our Play Day as your favorite. It’s really simple:
- 1. Go to the Yachats Community Play Day
- 2. Vote for the Yachats Community Play Day (If you haven’t register, you will need to register. It only takes a couple minutes)
- 3. You can vote once every 24 hours from now until November 30! Please vote everyday!
Communities across the country held fun-for-the-whole-family outdoor events as part of a national celebration to save play in the lives of children.
