The Yachats Youth and Family Activities Program is now offering a free beginners fishing class. Learn where to fish ; when to fish; and how to choose a rod and reel, baits and lures, rigs, hooks, knots and other fishing tackle.  Fishing 101 starts Monday, July 12^th and Wednesday, July 14^th from 2- 3 PM in the Yachats Commons basement. There will also be a special fishing trip up the Yachats River road on July 17^th where participants can practice their new fishing skills. Pre-registration required.
