Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program and The City of Yachats are calling out to all residence and businesses to donate and or volunteer to hand out candy.
We are ready for fall and Halloween! We are working with community members to plan a trick-or-treat event this year. We will be trick-or-treating on a designated route through town on Saturday, October 30th from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm. There will be different community organizations, businesses, and volunteers handing out candy along the way. Be sure to dress up in your Halloween costumes!

Fall preschool starts Monday September 13, 2021.
We are now taking new enrollments!
We havebeen approved for an income waiver. What this means is that preschool will be free to children ages 3 and 4 regardless of family income! If you are interested in preschool, please apply!

We are looking forward to our summer series of book and craft kit giveaways. We will have 5 book and craft give aways. Our first book and craft giveaway will be this Friday, June 25th from 1pm-3pm. We will have ice cream bars and fruit bars. We look forward to seeing you soon!
YYFAP Family Needs Assessment Survey –Please take a few minutes to fill out a brief survey about the needs of our families. This information will inform our programming and needed resources as we return to in-person services.
We are excited to introduce 2 new staff members!
Jodie Dalby is our new lead preschool teacher. She has been our assistant teacher since November and has worked with the Lincoln County School District for several years. We look forward to her new adventures in preschool.
Stephanie Burnett is our new program coordinator. She will be working with the director to develop programming and will also lead our Rec Plus and youth programs. Fun and engaging programs for our school-age youth are being planned now.
Camp YouGottaWanna – school-age
We are elated by the response of the community. We have had so many families reach out to us with interest in the camp, that we are already full. We currently have a waiting list. We will be sending the registration link to those families who are on the camp list. Thank you for the support and excitement about our programs as we return to in-person programs.
