The Yachats Commons Playground was selected as a finalist for a $10,000 play space improvement grant from the national non-profit KaBOOM!

That means South Lincoln County was selected from over 1,600 Play Days that took place all over the nation in September. In fact, we are the only grant finalist in Oregon for a $10,000 play space improvement grant from the national non-profit KaBOOM!, Mott’s, and NFL PLAY 60!
Now we need your help! To receive the grant we need you to vote for our Play Day as your favorite. It’s really simple, just go to:

Step 1. http://playday.kaboom.org/ and find our event called Yachats Community Play Day.

Step 2: Then click the big “VOTE” button. (If you haven’t register, you will have to register. It only takes a couple minutes and it is free!)

Step 3: Vote every day because you can vote once every 24 hours from now until November 30!
