All are invited to an event for families and community members of all ages.  The Yachats Community Presbyterian Church, Seashore Family Literacy Center, and the Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program are teaming up to bring an evening of information, good food, and kids’ activities to Yachats on Friday, May 20 at 6:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church in Yachats.  The evening will begin at 6:00 with a presentation on managing money – something we can all benefit from in these hard times.  Beth Larsen of the Community Services Consortium will offer an interactive introduction to her “Money Matters” class, which will be offered in Newport in June.  “Money Matters” helps people learn about budgeting, saving, credit, debt, and more.  During the presentation from 6:00 until 6:45, there will be reading-based activities available for children of all ages.  A delicious dinner will be served following the presentation.  For more information, e-mail yapkids@peak.org, or call 541-547-4599.
